Although winter rainfall in June and July was average, the region saw very little spring rain and none through to March (about 50% below average). These conditions meant next to no disease pressure, with an incredible display of Marri blossom removing bird pressure. A historically early harvest brought marginally lower than average yields. Careful vineyard management and a meticulous picking schedule has helped to produce powerfully flavoured wines with vibrant natural acidity.

winemaking

This wine was made with minimal intervention for the purest expression of this special vineyard.
