Technical
winemaking
The growing season was ideal, warm but not hot, a perfect amount of rainfall in the growing season allowed fruit to be picked at relatively low potential alcohol, but with a ripe and super fine tannin structure.
Fruit was harvested in distinct vineyard batches and fermented separately for 10-14 days. The wine was pressed to tank for maloactic fermentation and then racked to majority seasoned French oak barrels for 14 months maturation.
