The season started beautifully with a wet spring and late flowering, followed by a warm and dry season, producing wines with refined flavour, elegance and real personality.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003ewinemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis vineyard makes wonderfully fine expressive perfumed wines that I think are a joy to behold. As such the winemaking is very simple, i\u003c\/span\u003endividual parcels were fermented for between 10–14 days before being racked to tank and then directly to tight grain French oak for 16 months maturation. Intensely powerful bouquet of red fruits and that slightly liqueur cherry, bay leaf nuance. The palate is super intense and bursting with plush red fruits, supported by chalky, almost limestone-like tannins.
