Pale straw with green tinges.
Lifted and exotic with notes of pear and lemon rind with hints of coriander seed and fennel.
The palate is juicy and moreish with a saline backbone supporting endless citrus fruit characters. The wine holds mineral qualities with coastal influence providing rock salt flavours and a pith like flow.
Drink now, will age gracefully for 3–5 years.
2025 was a warm yet not hot Margaret River classic. Consistently warm and dry conditions allowed for exceptional fruit ripeness and flavours and a very well-balanced natural acidity. Minimal disease pressure allowed full ripeness ensuring the quality of fruit was fantastic.
A great season for this Single Vineyard wine, the fruit was harvested on the
26 February, three weeks later than the hot 2024 vintage. Trade mark racy acidity combined with lovely citrus fruit weigh, the hallmark. The fruit was picked in the cool of the night and gently pressed to retain freshness and the lovely, lifted aromatics. The wine was then nuanced with an additional 3 months aging on ferment lees to enhance complexity and texture prior to bottling in July of the same year.
